To mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of Mongolrostsvetmet, the Embassy of the Russian Federation, the Russian Trade Representation in Mongolia, the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar and Mongolrostsvetmet SOE are jointly holding a scientific meeting at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture on Tuesday 27 February 2024, 14:30–17:00, on strategic partnership between Russia and Mongolia in the mining sector and “50 years of Mongolrostsvetmet: Past, Present and Future”.
The Russian delegation will be led by Ambassador A. N. Evsikov and the Mongolian delegation by B. Uyanga, Deputy Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry.
Major Russian mining companies and representatives of Russian universities teaching the discipline will come to Mongolia and take part in the round table.
On the Mongolian side, participants include representatives of Mongolrostsvetmet led by its Director General B. Munkhbat, Mongolia’s first President P. Ochirbat, specialists of the Ministry of Economy and Development, and representatives of Erdenet Mining Corporation and Erdenes Mongol LLC.
The exhibition “Mongolrostsvetmet — 50 years” will also open as part of the event.
