ETT’s net profit for 2023 reached 3.5 trillion tugrik; in the first half of this year it earned a net profit of 3.3 trillion.
Having reached 3.5 trillion tugrik of net profit in 2023, ETT JSC earned 3.3 trillion in the first half of this year, and in 2024 paid a dividend of 200 billion tugrik into the accumulation fund.
Since the special regime was introduced and up to 30 June 2024, the company has mined 49.6 million tonnes of coal, sold 61.5 million tonnes and contributed 5.3 trillion tugrik to the budget — on its own 13 per cent of the state budget’s total tax revenue.
To improve mine operations and add value to its product, the company is implementing the coal-washing plant project and related projects as a package.
